The CCFM gallery presents the recent works of visual artist Yvan LaFontaine, who probes the intangibility of water in an artistic approach on aquatic movement. “Water, with its reflections, transparency and depths, makes us dream. It buoys us up and carries us away; it takes us places. Water is the ideal backdrop for an exploration on memory, time and places,” says the artist. The exhibition features a series of works that combine traditional print-making techniques with new technologies. “In this production, I combine the power of the chiselled line with computer-generated images,” LaFontaine adds.
