November 18, 2009 to November 22, 2009
Every November, the Winnipeg Aboriginal Film Festival (WAFF) showcases the best in indigenous film and video from across Canada, the U.S. and the world. Both on-and off-screen, WAFF’s mandate is to celebrate and cultivate indigenous storytelling.
Along with presenting its world-class line-up of films every year, WAFF offers a full slate of nightly events during the festival. Artists and audience members mix informally at opening and closing night receptions and at our Awards Gala. Our annual special fête for local artists recognizes the often large contingent of Manitobans screening at the Festival
