Graham Shaw and the Sincere Serenaders were one of the top bands in Winnipeg in the late 70’s and early 80’s. Recognized as a powerhouse vocalist, Graham landed a solo recording deal in 1980 with Capitol Records. Shortly afterward, his first hit single "Can I Come Near" made the Top-10 across the Canada. The band featured Graham on lead vocals, guitar and keyboards, Danny Casavant and later Paul O’Neill on guitar, Ilena Zaremba and Susan Lethbridge on backing vocals, Gary Stefaniuk on bass and Gord Osland on drums. Graham moved to Toronto and built a successful career as a composer for film, television and advertising. Many of his melodies are familiar to Canadians as themes for CBC shows such as Venture, Midday and Theodore Tugboat. All original members of the Sincere Serenaders are back and look forward to the Homecoming 2010 Reunion Show.
