Plug Institute of Contemporary Art presents Open Studios,the wrap-up event for the 2010 Summer Institute: Session 2. From July 5 to July 25, nine international artists have participated in the Summer Institute, an annual program that invites artists to participate in an intensive three-week residency in which they focus on their own artistic practice and collaborate as a team on a group project. Open Studios is an opportunity to explore what the artists have been working on during the Summer Institute.
Summer Institute Session 2 artists include: Derek Brueckner, Andrea Carlson, Sarah Anne Johnson, Marc Mainville, Pamila Matharu, J.J. Kegan McFadden, Divya Mehra, Ming Hon and faculty member Shezad Dawood.
