Gordon Arthur statement: Occasionally, when I consider my photographs to be successful, what appeals are those images of cultural transformation and suburban iconography that are uniquely "Winnipeg" in their evocation of a silent and vaguely sinister fairy-tale like mythology.
Most photographs in this exhibition were taken over the last year in Fort Rouge, my neighbourhood.
