The Manitoba Conservatory of Music & Arts Open House

Interested in music lessons for your preschooler? Are you a senior who has always wanted to play the violin? Got a passion for percussion? Join us on September 8th and 9th as we invite the whole community to explore the many options available at the Manitoba Conservatory of Music & Arts.

Enjoy a varied and vibrant program of events, to give you a taste of the many programs available for music lovers of all ages through the MCMA musical community.
Here are just a few of the exciting things to see, hear and do at the Open House:

• Listen and watch live performances by student and faculty members

• Try the instrument “petting zoo” for the kids (instruments provided by Long & McQuade)

• Take a free 10-minute music lesson (for all ages and instruments are provided)

• Chat with our friendly teachers and staff about ensembles , lessons, classes and outreach programming

• Enjoy tunes by our strolling accordion player

• Munch on cupcakes provided by Cake-ology

• Enter to win door prizes including tickets to a Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra Sundays with the Family concert

Be sure to stop in and find out about the many opportunities for music-making for all ages and all levels at the Manitoba Conservatory of Music & Arts.
