JP Hoe, and the Truly Richards with James Struthers

JP Hoe, and the Truly Richards with James Struthers

JP Hoe, a Park Favorite, commands the stage with his boyish smile, and a voice that rasps with weight beyond his years. A charismatic crooner, who whether he is performing for a small intimate house show, or performing before 2,500 people, like he did when opening for Jann Arden, captures the audience and makes them feel as if he is singing to them alone.

Be there when JP steps up to the microphone September 10th, as this is one artist to watch. He will be joined by a former Park Employee James Struthers.

James, who has played our stage a few times, first with his old partners the Sewing Club, and now as a solo artist brings his technically skilled guitar playing and skilled vocals to the Park Theatre. Struthers is already drawing comparisons to modern day greats like John Mayer and Jason Mraz, evokes an intensely personal artistic expression of first love. Walking the listener through the experience, from child-like naivety, through the excitement, anticipation and joy of romance, to the caverns of heartbreak and loneliness.
