Imaginary Cities went out into the darkness and became the music they love. The best part is, its the music we love too. They are music makers that go crackle, crackle, thump and squawk. Scratch your mp3player harddrive, with a needle does it make play a song? Music are you in there? For it is in Imaginary Cities.
We have been trying to get the Royal Canoe back to the Park Theatre Cafe, since they played our last anniversary show. Since emerging into the music scene last September, they have released their debut album, which delivers an auditory orgy featuring fist-pumping electro beats, insatiably melodramatic lyrics. But Royal Canoe is more then music that makes you want to dance, it is the rhythm that moves you.
