Wilson is 16 years old and none too pleased about having to spend yet another boring summer at his parents' cottage. Even with his best friend Terrance along for the trip, he's convinced the summer of '68 will be the most uneventful in history. That is until he meets his new next door neighbour, "The California Girl"! In an instant he's blown off his feet by "good vibrations" and determined to win her heart.
