Main gallery: Mother Nature's Fibres
In a synthetic world we forget the natural origins of textiles. This exhibit will explore the major and minor fibres and different weaves that are evident in our collection. The United Nations has recognized 2009 as the International Year of the Natural Fibres, so come celebrate it with us!
Second Gallery: The Canadiana Collection
Recently we acquired a small collection of artifacts from the Canadiana Collection based out of Victoria. We will showcase this wonderful historic collection in its entirety.
