The Great Ziggurat is a series of puppet ruminations on the Tower of Babel, of power and fragmentation, beginning with the biblical story and continuing through Rome, the Middle Ages and the Modern world. Vignettes of other stories involving towers will interrupt the proceedings Rapunzel, King Kong, Vertigo, etc. History, comedy, tragedy, philosophy, romance and mystery will all intertwine to provoke and inspire thought. And a tower will grow in the middle of the room.
