Aladdin

FTC opens its 29th season with the classic story of Aladdin. This production has thrilled children over the years, as we see Aladdin try to outwit the evil Wizard and bring great wealth to his impoverished family.

Aladdin is a trickster, so when a stranger comes upon his door-step, Aladdin tries to play a trick on him without much success. As the story unfolds we find out the stranger is an evil magician, Aladdin wants to marry the Princess and the Evil Magician wants the Magic Lamp. With the help of the Ring Genie, and the Genie of the Lamp, and the help of the audience, Aladdin is able to defeat the Evil Magician and all live happily ever after.

The cast features CJOB’s Weekend Radio host CHRIS REID who takes on the role of the Evil Magician, along with MEAGAN CLOUTIER, ZOE CHOPTAIN, SAM KOWALUK, SCOTT AUSTIN, AND JORDAN MASCHIO.
