An annual celebration of the music and feasting of winter, featuring a silent auction, dinner, entertainment, the presentation of the Winnipeg Folk Festival Artistic Achievement Award, and a performance by the award winner.
The fundraiser supports our education and outreach activities in our community, including our Guest for a Day program, Folk Retreat, Young Performers Program and Young Artists Program.

A tax receipt will be issued for the gift portion of the ticket.
6:00 p.m. – Libations and hors d’oeuvres
7:00 p.m. – Wassail feast
8:00 p.m. – Award presentation
8:30 p.m. – Performance by English singer–songwriter Billy Bragg
9:00 p.m. – Dessert and entertainment
10:00 p.m. – Auction closes
Dress: medieval, business, festive. Costumes are available at Ragpickers at special Wassail pricing – call 942-7992.
Now an annual tradition for many attendees, this evening of music and celebration is both an enjoyable addition to the community’s holiday festivities, as well as a successful fundraiser for the festival.
