*New Works from Reetbot!

Reetbot is a self-taught Winnipeg based artist. His paintings and drawings are often translated onto objects found in dumpsters and peoples garbage. His art typically depicts jesting characters with bright colors. His work has been shown in group art shows in Winnipeg as well as New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto.

Forced into shopping mall jobs and daycare Christmas parties, Santa Clauses across the world are being depreciated. Through my dreams, and cracked notions I have created a body of work that relates to the financial and emotional problems Mr. Clause is faced with. So many generosities bestowed upon us as we are showered with gifts and laughter. Yet no one stops to think about the possible crisis he is faced with every December 26th. This production serves as no other purpose than to manifest his various hardships and forms he is forced to take on as he withers with every MasterCard statement and frost-bitten sail.
