Where Strange Things May Come is an exhibition focused on character illustrations, developed by artist Ashley Perrier. Often portrayed as young girls with anthropomorphized features, these girls simply exist as they are. The large drawings, Pandemonium of wicked and winged things, follow a similar theme. Here the girls are shown travelling through a chaotic environment, with references to Junji Ito’s short, The Enigma of Amigara Fault. This triptych draws upon a number of influences, namely the work of Henry Darger and Hieronymus Bosch.
