Melodies on Mercredi with Aimee Lane & Ingrid Gatin

On the first Wednesday of each month Winnipegers will be invited to listen to live music in our new Assiniboine Community Hall acoustic space. On these special nights we will also celebrate the opening of a monthly art exhibit by local professional and youth artists. It is the perfect opportunity to experience home grown talent in an intimate setting for a low price of $5 per ticket. Pudding will be available for purchase.

Ingrid Gatin makes eclectic beautiful. With accordion, piano, vocals, handclaps, foot-stomps, and tambourine, she is a little bit gypsy, a little bit soul, and a lot of passion. One of Winnipeg's own up-and-coming singer/songwriter/arrangers, Ingrid is getting ready to take Canada by storm.

Aimee Lane started writing music when she was eleven years old. Found her passion for music after auditioning for a musical in elementary. She taught herself how to play guitar when she was twelve, and hasn't let go of one since.  Aimee has participated in the Young Performers' Program at the Winnipeg Folk Festival and has just released her first self-titled album "Aimee Lane" produced by Dan Donahue.
