Razom – in Ukrainian means “together” and perfectly describes this upcoming production. Razom will feature 90 Ukrainian dancers in an exhilarating explosion of colour, youthful exuberance and boundless energy.

 

A collaborative production presented by the Cheremosh Ukrainian Dance Company (Edmonton), the Rusalka Ukrainian Dance Ensemble (Winnipeg) and the Tryzub Ukrainian Dance Ensemble (Calgary), Razom is sure to please all dance enthusiasts.

 

Featuring dances from three of Canada’s premier Ukrainian dance choreographers, Razom will take the audience on a remarkable journey through the beauty and complexity of Ukrainian dance and showcases the different Ukrainian dance styles that are evolving on the Canadian prairies. Don’t miss it !

 

The Cheremosh Ukrainian Dance Festival is one of the largest dance festivals of its kind in North America. It generally takes place during the second weekend in May, and provides thousands of dancers with the opportunity to perform and learn in a professional and constructive environment. This four-day Ukrainian dance competition is marked on the calendars of Ukrainian dancers and their families all over Alberta and the prairies.
