QUALIA, a sensation that cannot be communicated or apprehended by any other means than direct experience. This unique abstract expressionist exhibition features three Winnipeg visual artists and their diverse interpretations and perspectives.

Blake McArthur's art is not meant to be “understood,” it is meant to be enjoyed. Through the use of colour, shapes and textures, he strives to create images that invoke an emotional reaction and remain aesthetically pleasing.

Catherine Emile paints her soul-mindful of the interconnectedness of all phenomenon and the knowledge that everything is eternally falling apart and getting back together. She hopes to invoke the observer to feel wonder and love for the miracle of sentient life we all share.

Victor Popow is drawn to the physical and unseen worlds and how they interpenetrate one another. His visual speculations are based upon a series of fundamental questions.
